Gauntlet
Skill-based FPS Robinhood Chain

Every kill
is a payout

Stake to enter the arena. Every elimination pays a bounty from the pot. Walk away with what you earned.

Gauntlet is a first-person shooter where the scoreboard is denominated in money. Matches settle onchain the moment the round ends, and your balance never leaves a contract you can withdraw from yourself.

Free to download and free to play. A wallet is only needed for staked matches — read the docs.

The match

Four steps, one round

No season passes, no grinding for a payout. A Gauntlet match is a closed loop that opens and settles in minutes.

01 Before the round

Stake in

Pick a stake tier and join the arena. Your entry goes into the match pot held by the escrow contract, not by us.

02 During the round

Take the shot

Free-for-all. Every confirmed elimination is recorded by the authoritative game server and carries a bounty.

03 At the final whistle

Round settles

The server signs the result and the contract pays every earner from the pot in a single transaction.

04 Any time after

Withdraw

Your balance sits in the contract under your address. Withdraw any amount, any time, straight to your wallet.

Your money

We never hold it

Most money games run a private ledger and ask you to trust the withdrawal button. Gauntlet puts the pot in a contract with no admin key over your balance. Every rule below is enforced by that contract rather than by our policy, so all six hold even if our servers are compromised.

Withdrawing can't be switched off

Pausing the game stops new matches and new deposits. It has no effect on withdrawals. Nobody can trap your balance.

A match can't overpay

Payouts are checked against the pot on every settlement. A match can never pay out more than the players put in, minus the fee.

A dead server can't keep your stake

If a match is never settled, every player reclaims their share of the pot from the contract once the timeout passes.

Paid once, only if you played

Only wallets that actually staked into a match can be paid from it, and each one at most once. Signatures can't be replayed.

The house cut is capped in code

The fee is limited to 5% at the contract level. It cannot be raised past that by anyone, including us.

No upgrade switch

The contract isn't upgradeable. What it does on day one is what it does forever. Changing the rules means deploying a new one in the open.

What the server decides

Who got the kill. That is the whole of it. The contract enforces everything above no matter what the server signs, so a stolen key could misattribute a bounty inside one match — it could not mint, drain, double-pay, or pay a stranger. Full breakdown in the docs →

Questions

Straight answers

Is there a token?
A token launch on Robinhood Chain is planned, but nothing has been deployed yet. There is no presale, no allocation and no whitelist, and no token is tradeable today. The contract address will be published here and from @GauntletRH before anywhere else. Anything offering a Gauntlet token before then is a scam.
Do I need crypto to play?
Not to play. Free arenas need nothing but the game. A wallet is only required to enter a staked match or to withdraw what you've earned.
Where does my stake actually sit?
In the escrow contract on Robinhood Chain, credited to your address. We can't move it, and pausing the game doesn't touch it. Withdrawals go straight from the contract to your wallet.
What stops someone farming kills with a friend?
Eliminations are recorded by the authoritative server, not the client. Self-kills, team kills and duplicate events are rejected before they ever reach settlement, and rapid repeat pairs are flagged for review.
What does the house take?
A fee on each match pot, capped at 5% in the contract itself. There are no hidden spreads and no deposit or withdrawal fees beyond network gas.
When can I play for real money?
After testnet matches run clean, an independent review of the contract, and the legal work that real-money competition requires in each market. We'd rather be late than take stakes we aren't ready to honour.

Playtest builds are invite-only

The Windows client is not public yet. Invites go out in waves and are announced from the official account, which is the only place they come from.

Nobody from Gauntlet will DM you a build, ask for a seed phrase, or ask you to send funds to get access.

Connect a wallet

Gauntlet uses an EVM wallet on Robinhood Chain as your identity for staked matches. Signing in is a signature: it moves no funds and costs no gas.
